Visitors Comments

Below is a small selection of the comments from our visitors' books. Everyone agrees that it is a "little piece of heaven" on the edge of the Atlantic and an ideal place to unwind and escape from the world, for a while at least.

Among our guests have been ramblers, sailors, biologists, artists, writers, photographers, musicians and composers, including the late Basil Poledouris, composer of Hollywood film scores such as Conan the Barbarian (the original and best), Hunt for Red October, RoboCop, and The Tradition of the Games as the opening ceremony for the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.

The area is teeming with wildlife. You can watch seals lounging on the rocks, herons fishing on the shore and rabbits grazing in the garden. You may also be one on the lucky few to see an otter swimming in the seaweed or even climbing on the rocks. All the photographs on this page were taken by visitors to Seal Cottage.
